Victor Osimhen refers to the agent of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia as a “piece of filth” – Saudi Pro League

Victor Osimhen’s Instagram post, a scathing attack on Mamuka Jugeli, the agent of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, was nothing short of shocking. The forward, in a fit of rage, used his Instagram story to lash out at the agent in response to Jugeli’s recent comments about him and his future.

Rumors about Victor Osimhen’s dissatisfaction at Napoli and speculations about his future in Italy have been rife this season. The Nigeria’s performance has seen a significant drop from the previous season, but it’s still unclear if this is a contributing factor.

His goal production this season has yet to match last year’s impressive tally of 26 goals when he was one of Serie A’s top performers. This dip in form has mirrored Napoli’s struggles, as the team has been inconsistent and underperforming compared to their title-winning campaign. 

Injuries and tactical issues have disrupted their flow, and the star forward’s scoring drought has only added to their challenges. Napoli’s hopes of turning things around largely depend on him rediscovering his form to help lift the group out of its present rut.

He has only scored seven goals thus far. The defending Serie A champions are now in ninth place, twenty points behind Inter Milan at the top. Given that Osimhen and fellow star Kvaratskhelia’s agent are engaged in public spats, it is reasonable to surmise that the team is not currently in agreement.

Jugeli was called a “disgrace” by Osimhen

Victor Osimhen wasted no time in responding to Jugeli’s comments about him and his future. He took to social media, particularly Instagram, to publicly denounce the agent, calling him a ‘disgrace’ and a ‘piece of filth.’ His use of profanity further escalated the situation, making it a public spectacle.

“Keep my name out of your mouth!!!” was Osimhen’s final words, expressed in all capital letters. He’s been very upfront about his feelings for the agent, so it will be interesting to see how this affects his relationship with Kvaratskhelia. Being the most prominent players in Napoli, the two will make things much worse in Naples this season if they start to fall out. That being said, we cannot hold Osimhen responsible for his response, given what Jugeli stated.

Jugeli reported that Osimhen will sign a summer contract with a Saudi Pro League team

His client was “different,” he claimed

After Jugeli made remarks regarding the Nigeria’s future public, Osimhen responded. He asserted that the forward will leave Napoli in the summer and sign with a Saudi Pro League team, ending the speculation about his future. His remarks might not have sparked as much of a response if he had stopped there.

Instead, he continued by mentioning Kvaratskhelia, his own client. It was soon evident that he was attempting to portray the Georgian as less capable than his teammate by taking advantage of the circumstances. Osimhen would eventually go to Saudi Arabia, he claimed, but his client was ‘different’ and would prefer to play for a team like Barcelona, Real Madrid, or Manchester City.

It’s understandable that Napoli’s star forward retaliated against the insulting suggestion that Osimhen is only interested in money and would prefer to play in the Saudi Pro League, while Kvaratskhelia wants to play for the biggest teams in the world. We’ll have to wait and see how things develop in Naples over the next few weeks.
