Sources have told GIVEMESPORT that Liverpool may be caught off guard if fan favorite Mohamed Salah opts to leave and join a Champions League rival instead of signing a new contract to extend his stay at Anfield beyond this season.

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has been linked with Salah amid ongoing uncertainty over whether he might be considering a lucrative offer from the Saudi Pro League.

Salah has long been courted by clubs in the Middle East, with Liverpool turning down a £150 million bid from Al-Ittihad last year. However, it remains unclear whether the Egyptian winger is ready to move at this stage of his career, which has been filled with trophies and personal accolades.
