If Liverpool can persuade Zubimendi to leave Donostia-San Sebastián, activating his release clause would be a significant and strategic acquisition. Despite interest from numerous top clubs, the local talent has remained loyal to his current team. Losing Zubimendi and Mikel Merino in the same transfer window would be a substantial setback for coach Imanol Alguacil and Real Sociedad.

Tottenham has announced the loan move of promising forward Alejo Véliz for the upcoming season. The Argentine attacker will spend the year with Spanish club Espanyol.
Véliz, who signed with Tottenham in the summer of 2023, initially featured in eight matches before being loaned to Sevilla for the latter half of the season. During his stint with Sevilla, he made only six appearances, accumulating just 31 minutes of playtime.
