This week, a promising player from Barcelona’s youth academy opted to seek a new path.

According to a report from Globo, Dual, whose mother is Brazilian, has reached an agreement on a two-year contract with Brazilian giants Palmeiras.
‘Palmeiras have on Wednesday confirmed the signing of young Wesley Dual, a Spaniard with a Brazilian mother, for the Under-20 team. The 18-year-old midfielder has already represented Spain and the São Paulo club is just waiting for the documents to be sent to confirm the signing.’

A rising midfielder from La Liga powerhouse Real Madrid has been confirmed to have sustained a severe knee injury.
The player in question is César Palacios.
Youngster Palacios was for his part back in action in the early hours of Thursday morning.
He made a significant contribution when he appeared off the bench in Real Madrid’s friendly match against Italian giants AC Milan.
Despite the team’s eventual 1-0 defeat, the 19-year-old’s time on the field was cut short due to a knee issue, leading to an early exit from the match.
In his post-match comments, Carlo Ancelotti suggested that the injury might be severe, stating:
“Palacios has a knee problem and it is not looking good.”
