Barcelona continued their blistering start to the season with a 7-0 demolition of Real Valladolid at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companies. Raphinha’s hat-trick, alongside goals from Robert Lewandowski, Jules Koundé, Ferran Torres, and Dani Olmo, showcased the attacking prowess of Hansi Flick’s side as they sent a clear message to their La Liga rivals.
Raphinha opened the scoring before Lewandowski doubled the lead four minutes later in the 20th minute. Koundé added a third in first-half stoppage time with a superb strike into the top corner, leaving Barcelona in control at halftime.
The second half saw the hosts pile on the misery for Valladolid. Raphinha completed his hat-trick, netting twice more. At the same time, Dani Olmo and Ferran Torres each got on the scoresheet to cap off a stunning team performance.
The Brazilian winger, who has faced mixed form since joining Barcelona, delivered a standout performance that is sure to win over the fans. Meanwhile, youngster Lamine Yamal was instrumental, providing two assists and wreaking havoc alongside Lewandowski and Raphinha in attack.
Valladolid shocked Barcelona with a 3-1 win the last time they met in May, but that upset was not repeated. Barcelona is now top of the table, while Valladolid is in eighth place.
Barcelona’s next match will be a trip to Girona after the international break, while Valladolid will face Celta Vigo.
After this dominant display, Barcelona’s attacking trio of Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski, and Lamine Yamal looks poised to become one of the most feared in Europe. All three played a crucial role in Real Valladolid’s 7-0 thrashing, with Raphinha scoring a hat-trick, Lewandowski adding a goal, and Yamal contributing two assists.
Lewandowski now has four goals in as many La Liga matches and will have his sights set on the golden boot despite the arrival of Kylian Mbappé in Spain. Raphinha was unstoppable, netting his first career hat-trick with three stunning strikes and assisting Ferran Torres’ goal.
This front line combines pace, power, and technique, with Yamal’s youthful energy complementing the experience of Lewandowski and Raphinha. When they’re at their best, few defenses in Europe will be able to cope with their threat.
The Brazilian winger opened the scoring and added two more in the second half to complete his first hat-trick. In addition to his three goals, Raphinha set up Ferran Torres’ strike, delivering a performance that Valladolid’s defense couldn’t handle. His pace, skill, and movement proved too much for Valladolid’s defense.
